Please, I want real criticism. This mostly was a venture into a different style of writing, one that details the backstory of a "game". And in order to improve, I need a secondary, critical look at my work.

First, there are too many boards. A general rule is to have a smaller number to start, then branch off as needed. The large number of boards meant that I saw that most of them had few posts--if any--which is both intimidating and a big turn-off for most prospective players. It's like the theory behind making people wait in a long line to get into an exclusive club. The fact that it looks busier makes people want to go in, but these same people will refuse to enter a 'dead' club with the same exact number of people actually inside. Conversely, the large number of separate boards means that you are looking at a big list without any clear guides as to where to go first (or second, third, etc.).

Second is a layout nit-pick. I had to page-down a couple of times on every page to get to any content. The chatbox, voting buttons, & such took up the entirety of the screen. I use many different tabs; if I wasn't paying attention to the title text, there would be no way for me to know what page I was on--the content is otherwise identical until I page down twice to it. The layout seems to be forced in part by Zeta, with overly large side margins & all, but for every new thread on a forum it gets a bit annoying.

The phrase, "get started right away on making a character" is underlined, but is not a link. This wouldn't be an issue except for everything else that's underlined near it is a link.

Finally, I really cannot comment much on the writing style. It is clearly written for the most part, but a lack of a definite starting point hinders understanding. The lack of a continuous narrative prevents being eased into the setting-specific information. The reader is left with jumping around from sub-section to sub-section based solely off of how enticing a post title may be.
